Why did I get www.briangrattan.com?

Well, I had thought about it for a while. Then my friend Brent was asking me about registering domain names. So, I searched Yahoo! and found the Network Solutions Whois Server. Here, people can find out who owns domain names. For instance, some guy named Tim Grattan, owns grattan.com--which is what I initially wanted. So, I figured I better register my own name before somebody else gets it! Especially since there are other Brian Grattans out there. By the way, I also own grattanfamily.com, but am not using it right now. I may use it as an e-mail address domain in the future.

Plus, I figure it is a kind of status symbol among computer geeks such as myself. I mean, how many people have their own web-address? Not many now, but in the future, who knows?
